Alan's legal assistant, Marty, gave Madeline a PRECIOUS onesie last summer after she was born. The size on it was 12 months, so we put it in her closet and anxiously awaited for the time when she could wear it - thinking it would fit perfectly a little before her birthday in May. Well, we obviously didn't know how quickly Miss Madeline would grow! She wore it for the first time in early March and it was already almost too small! It fit fairly well, but the torso looked pretty stretched!. Here is a picture of her wearing it for the first time. The front says "What does the pig say?" and the back says "Oink".
It was WAY too cute to not get more wear out of it, so my sweet mother-in-law turned it into a shirt! Here she is wearing it today. She was even able to re-use the frilly trim that was around the legs by putting it around the bottom of the shirt. Too cute! Thanks, Mom #2!
