Rainbow Bright Meets the Abominable Snowman

Madeline's first time playing in the snow! She didn't exactly make a fashion statement, but she was warm! We went in the back yard first thinking it would give Bond an opportunity to run around and get some energy out. We were out there just long enough for Madeline to eat some snow when we realized Bond had gone to the low spot in the yard where the water was turning dirt to mud. Joy. Plan #2 - With Bond dried off and now safely in the house, we went to the front yard to get a few pictures. Madeline hasn't sat in her Bumbo seat for a while (chunky thighs), but it kept her bottom dry so we could get some shots. With all the layers she had on, we needed the Jaws of Life to pray her out of that thing! She wasn't nearly excited about the snow as we were excited for her, but Mommy and Daddy had fun! Oh well, maybe next year!
